Want to create a custom fit bridle for your horse? Learn how to mix and match bridle parts to create the perfect bridle, tailored to your horse's unique needs and style. It's super easy to do so! Check out the guide below on how to easily measure for different bridle parts.
How it works:

Measure up with the Henry James Bridle Fitting Tape that provides accurate measurements, helping you to easily work out what size bridle components are required. This tape measure covers all the essential measurements including multiple types of noseband.

Head Piece

With your current bridle on your horse, measure from the base of the ear, over the top of the horses head to the other side.

Browband

Check if your current browband fits well by ensuring you can fit one finger under its front without it being too tight.
Cheekpieces

Measure from the upper corner of the horse’s eye downwards to the top of the bit ring.
Noseband

Measure the circumference 1 finger width below the cheekbone.
Grackle Noseband
Measure from the corner of the cheekbone to the opposite side under the chin to the opposite cheekbone, creating a figure 8 on the horses face.
