Beris Hard 7.5cm Ring Loose Ring Snaffle with Butterfly Bar

$116.00
Size
The butterfly bar represents an absolute innovation in the field of mouthpieces. The anatomically correct shape combined with a broader surface in the tongue area creates the optimum amount of room for this very important and sensitive muscle with the possibility of a very gentle effect. Horses show they are feeling at ease by increased chewing and more acceptance of the bit. If a stronger effect on the horse‘s mouth is needed, the angulation of the bit in the mouth can be altered with a sidepiece that acts as a lever. The resulting increased pressure on specific points can then achieve the communication desired. When the pressure is reduced, the butterfly bar reverts immediately to the comfortable position.

The loose ring means greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. This bit is therefore meant for horses who prefer a "more mobile" in the mouth. The ring runs very evenly in its copper sockets and this increases the lifespan of the bit substantially.
Bits for the ambitious leisure rider and professional alike.

The beris bit company in Schleswig-Holstein came into being as the result of years of manufacturing bits, the experience gained from this and the skilled craftmanship and passion for equestrian sport: Out of passion for the horse. The protection of the horse"s sensitive mouth is most important to beris. From bit ring to the complicated cheekpiece: every metal part is shaped by hand, welded and polished to perfection.

The innovative design of the mouthpiece also ensures a better acceptance of the bit and facilitates subtle communication between horse and rider. The beris mouthpieces are made of a food safe plastic compound, processed and with a surface finish unequalled so far in the field of plastic bits. Their surface is very smooth and they slide easily in the mouth, even if the horse doesn´t produce much saliva. Practically all horses like the beris mouthpieces. They produce saliva, chew more and accept the bit readily. True Made in Germany craftmanship.

Mouthpiece thickness 18 mm
